This senior level position reports to the CEO, and is responsible for the creation, implementation and evaluation of Peter Paul’s educational and family programs and initiatives. The Chief Programs Officer (CPO) serves as a strategic thought partner with the CEO, helping to accelerate the fulfillment of the organization’s vision and goals while building and leading a diverse team to achieve maximum effectiveness. The CPO will have overall strategic and operational responsibility, ensuring an integrated approach to program delivery. The CPO will play a primary role in building a culture that ensures team members and partnerships thrive, and outcomes are met. Leadership and instructional expertise are key attributes of this position.  
 
The CPO will collaborate with the CEO and Director of Philanthropy as necessary, to support fundraising and donor engagement. The individual holding this role will be expected to form strong partnerships with Philanthropy and Finance to position Peter Paul as the thought leader around our mission and ensure alignment across functions to maximize resources.  This position requires a commitment to being data-informed in developing and executing strategies, with clear metrics and outcomes identified.  The Chief Program Officer will oversee Peter Paul’s evaluation process defining what is measured to demonstrate impact and working with partners to learn from findings to improve overall impact.   
 
Core Responsibilities 
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement overall strategic plans for the organization’s programs, collaborating with the CEO and executive team 
  • Program Oversight: Supervise the development, implementation, and evaluation of all programs to ensure quality, effectiveness, and alignment with Peter Paul’s goals. 
  • Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and manage program directors and staff, providing guidance, feedback and support to ensure high performance and team cohesion. 
  • Fiscal Management: Oversee program budgets, manage financial resources, and ensure programs meet budget objectives. 
  • Stakeholder Relations: Act as a spokesperson and build relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, program vendors, and the community. 
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Monitor program outcomes, analyze data, and report results to leadership and stakeholders. 
Qualifications  
  • Master’s degree (in Education preferred). Curricular and administrative expertise preferred  
  • Extensive supervisory experience  
Compensation: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
